Are books dead?
Now apple have shown there “new creation” to the world that has a built in e-reader will it kill books? No but e-readers will the way they are going down in price and there is lots coming in to the market. But the ipad has feachers like a built in book store but it also has 3G so you can download books any ware and hopefully you will be able to download your news paper when you wake up.
Its all well and good talking about the good things but the ipad has a glossy non e-ink display witch my make reading uncomfortable on your eyes. The £500 price tag is a lot for what can be called a big ipod touch when you can get a e-reader and a ipod touch for less than the ipad. I do think that books made out of paper may not be around for much more e-readers are the future and we will be seeing a lot more of them.
Iday. “Not for me thank you.”
This is iday wow it is the day that all the apple fans go and get there new iphones but i do not see the point in this i will no be getting a iphone 3gs because of all this fuss about one day but people have been saying that the lines where only like two people long that is because people have been ordering them online so they don’t have to stand in the long line that are very short because of the people ordering online message to apple don’t you want a big line at the store people may just go and see what is happening and end up buying a new iphone but that is all i am going to say i am sure a apple fan will say some mean comment but you cant help it.
Wwdc round up.
Its that time for all the blogs to start doing round up blog posts on the wwdc keynote so now it is my tearn so i am going to split it up into mac upgrades snow leopard and iphone so lets start.
Mac.
Lets start with the macbook pro the 15″ mbp has add some bog updates one of the biggest i can see is the new battery life there is now 2 more hours but also with that there is a bigger hard drive 500GB yes that big that is half a terabyte there is a ssd but there is very little storage on them and there is thebig problem with the screens it has a glossy screen it is ment for pros it is in the name pro but still we will have to live with it but here is one of the big things price cuts it is very cheap you will want to buy this it is a very fast laptop if you want to see the full specs go the the apple website but here is one thing people have mean wanting a cheaper macbook air and also a faster one to and now it has happened the new macbook air or the updated macbook air has faster processor speeds long battery life but no much more but the price difference is big .
Snow leopard.
Now here is the bit where it is not really a new os it is more of a upgrade than a new os but it is only $29 for faster speeds and you will get 6GB of your hdd back because of file compression and exchange support this is a good upgrade but why do you have to pay for basicly a software updat?
Ipone 3Gs
wow and new iphone lets all run and get one!!! not so fast look and see what is new 3.0 megapixel camera more storage and a few more things but the new iphone is a bit better and if you love apple you will buy it or if you are like me and are not a apple lover but like apple products you may go and buy it but you will probably keep your 3G.
